Extruded Profiles, Tubes and Cord

Rubber can be extruded into long continuous lengths such as tubing, cord, or custom shapes. Extruded profiles are beneficial where long lengths of seals are required or where the same profile is required in different lengths, for instance window and door seals.

Extrusions can be manufactured from many different types of elastomer and plastic, including sponge materials. Typical uses for extruded profiles are commercial door and window seals, automotive door and window seals, vacuum and coolant lines, large pipes and fittings. The ends can be spliced (glued or vulcanized) together to form large ring seals that are too large for conventional molding.

Extruded rubber profiles require greater tolerances than molded rubber products. Typical tolerances for extruded profiles would be from The Rubber Manufacturer Association (RMA), Rubber Handbook or ISO3302-1 Classes and Tolerances for Extruded Rubber Products.

O-ring Cord

Supplied as an endless extruded cord with an O-ring cordo-ring profile. O-ring cord can be used for cord rings (cold bond joined or vulcanised) which can then be fitted as static seals e.g. large o-rings, where standard sizes are unavailable, or for sealing flanges and container lids etc. It can be supplied in the following standard materials:

SILICON SILICONE PIPES 

  ● There is a wide range of silicone pipes ranging from an inner diameter of 0.5 mm to 50 mm diameter, with a standard standard of 60 bulls (can also be produced in dimensions and non-standard hardness according to customer demand).

   ● Small sizes are usually used for insulation in the field of electricity.

   ● Medium dimensions are used to transport liquids and powders in the pharmaceutical industry.

   ● The silicone pipe can be supplied with FDA, WRAS, USP CLASS VI, BIOCOMATABILITY and more.

   ● Silicone tubes are suitable for use in contact with food, peristaltic pumps and many other uses.

   ● Silicone tubes can be supplied in different colors or with a color stripe.

   ● There is a special model of silicone tubing that is used to transport milk in cowsheds.

   ● There is a PLATINUM CURED silicone tube used to manufacture medicines (in clean rooms).
